Lunch Favorite

This is one of grandma-ma's favorite meals to eat.  Hot noodles with butter and cheese.  In fact, my 5-cheese ravioli loves to eat butter and cheese noodles too.

I cooked up some tiny elbow noodles and when they were at the right "al dente" stage, I strained them and then put a tab of butter in the bowl and stirred the noodles and butter until the butter melted.  I then mixed in Parmesan cheese and then some freshly grated Asaigo cheese.   The hot noodles melted the cheeses and it was so good and tasty.  This was so good I think I will make it again for lunch tomorrow.

Have a cheese noodle day my ravs.  Grandma-ma loves you all.

Word of the Week Wednesday

Hello my Wednesday raviolis.  It was another busy week for grandma-ma.  The New York raviolis grandma and aunt came down to Atlanta to visit grandma-ma and grampy.  We had a wonderful time running all over and visiting stores and restaurants.  They have already returned back to NY and we miss them already.  Family is wonderful and so today's word of the week is

family

Yes, family.  Glorious, clever, hysterical, smart, funny, hard working, joyful, sometimes get in trouble but we love you all family.  I bet you can easily make three sentences using the word family.  Here is grandma-ma's first sentence:

Visiting family is the most fun ever.

And let me leave you with this fun video of family being silly.

Grandma-ma and Grampy love you all.

Stuck in Spaghetti

Hello my raviolis!  Stuck in Spaghetti, well grandma-ma was stuck in spaghetti a few days ago.  Grampy made grandma-ma a wonderful supper of Chicken Marsiella with spaghetti noodles.  I was excited to finally eat some food that wasn't like baby food now that I'm getting used to the braces in my mouth.

Love spaghetti.  Don't you?

Well grandma-ma twirled the hot noodles around her fork and put them in her mouth.  Everything seemed to be fine.  Nice, hot noodles and then as I tried to chew them to swallow, they got all tangled up in my mouth.  They wouldn't breakdown so I could swallow them.  Oh No!  Grandma-ma had to start pulling out one long strand of spaghetti at a time so she wouldn't choke.  Having these braces is not fun right now.

So if I want to eat noodles it must be chariot wheels or

Rigatoni or even grandma-ma's favorite...Raviolis...but you knew that one!

Have a wonderful Friday my ravs and be good!  Love Grandma-ma

Word of the Week Wedneday

Hello Wednesday raviolis.  Today is word of the week Wednesday and today's word is:

"OUCH"

Why "Ouch"?  Well, grandma-ma's braces still hurt and every morning I wake up and say, "ouch"!  Now, the braces really don't hurt, it is the inside of grandma-ma's mouth that is still sore from all of the boo boos in her mouth.

Everybody gets boo boos and ouches.

This lion cub playfully bit his daddy's tushie (buns, bum, hynie, butt). Daddy lion howled. LOL

Caleb said "ouch" when he got stitches.

Kaitlyn said "ouch" when she got stitches too.  But Kaitlyn laughed when her daddy put whipped cream on her nose.

It's always best to receive a kiss when you have a boo boo or ouch.  I hope these doggie kisses make this little girl's hurt go away.

So, be sure to use the word "ouch" in three sentences today.  Here is grandma-ma's first sentence:  "Ouch, I exclaimed when I got a paper cut on my finger."  Have an ouchless day today my loves.  Hugs and kisses from grandma-ma & grampy.
