Cinnamon Toast for chilly days

Good morning my chilly raviolis!  It is still bitter cold where Grandma-ma and Grampy and Aunt Renee live.  It is also bitter cold out in Denver with Uncle Aaron and his run a muck family and Uncle Kevin, icy cold in NYC where Cousin Linda lives, snowy cold where Grandma and Grandpa and all of the aunts and uncles live and it is cold in England where Maura and Brian live and very cold where Jason, our four cheese ravioli's daddy is...which is Afghanistan.  So this is a perfect day to make a tasty snack for chilly days like today...Cinnamon Toast.

Jason and Aaron loved eating this as kids so much that we had a shaker filled with sugar and fresh ground cinnamon so they could make this tasty treat whenever they wanted it.  Ask mom or dad for a shaker that is not being used (this can be a salt or pepper shaker).  Fill it 2/3 of the way with white sugar and then add a tablespoon of cinnamon.  Put the cap back on and shake it up to mix. If you need more cinnamon, add it to the shaker.

Now, toast several slices of your favorite bread in your toaster or have someone help using the toaster oven.  Once the bread is toasted, smear with a little butter and shake the sugar and cinnamon on it.  This is sooooo good and especially after coming in from a chilly outdoor activity.

Now here is another treat...you can make your regular pancakes into cinnamon pancakes.  Yummy!

Don't these look good!

So many raviolis, let me know if you made cinnamon toast today.  Love Grandma-ma
